Ceria based solid solutions doped by Gd, Bi, and the third dopant were synthesized by the co-precipitation method with ultrasonic treatment, followed by calcination at the temperature of 500°С. Characterization of the synthesized nanosystems by XRD, TEM, TG, Raman spectroscopy, FTIR, XPS was carried out. It is shown that all obtained powders of solid solutions crystallized into a cubic structure of the fluorite type, with an average particle size of 5–15 nm. The samples had a mesoporous structure of the pore diameter of 2–5 nm. The catalytic activity of Gd-Bi-M-Ce-O (M = Cu, Zr, Ni, Co, Mn) solid solutions was carried out. The catalyst Gd0.05Bi0.15Mn0.20Ce0.60O2 has the lowest oxidation temperature. 相似文献

Novel inks were formulated by dissolving polycaprolactone (PCL), a hydrophobic polymer, in organic solvent systems; polyethylene oxide (PEO) was incorporated to extend the range of hydrophilicity of the system. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) with a weight ratio of 55–85% was added to the polymer-based solution to mimic the material composition of natural bone tissue. The direct ink writing (DIW) technique was applied to extrude the formulated inks to fabricate the predesigned tissue scaffold structures; the influence of HAp concentration was investigated. The results indicate that in comparison to other inks containing HAp (55%, 75%, and 85%w/w), the ink containing 65% w/w HAp had faster ink recovery behavior; the fabricated scaffold had a rougher surface as well as better mechanical properties and wettability. It is noted that the 65% w/w HAp concentration is similar to the inorganic composition of natural bone tissue. The elastic modulus values of PCL/PEO/HAp scaffolds were in the range of 4–12 MPa; the values were dependent on the HAp concentration. Furthermore, vancomycin as a model drug was successfully encapsulated in the PCL/PEO/HAp composite scaffold for drug release applications. A carbosilane pseudo‐dendrimer with irregular structure and degree of branching DB = 1 was synthesized and fractionated. The molar masses of the obtained fractions ranged from 5000 to 490 000 g mol?1. The hydrodynamic and conformational properties were studied by the methods of light scattering, sedimentation‐diffusion analysis and viscometry in dilute hexane and toluene solutions. The Mark ? Kuhn ? Houwink dependences were obtained. The results for the pseudo‐dendrimer are compared with the data for the initial hyperbranched poly(diallylcarbosilane) with DB = 0.5 and carbosilane dendrimer. It is shown that the solution properties of the pseudo‐dendrimer are close to those for the irregular hyperbranched polymer and differ significantly from the dendrimer behavior. Hence, it is branching regularity rather than the degree of branching that determines the conformational and hydrodynamic properties of hyperbranched polymers with a high degree of branching DB ≥ 0.5. © 2014 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

This article describes the genetically encoded caspase-3 FRET-sensor based on the terbium-binding peptide, cleavable linker with caspase-3 recognition site, and red fluorescent protein TagRFP. The engineered construction performs two induction-resonance energy transfer processes: from tryptophan of the terbium-binding peptide to Tb3+ and from sensitized Tb3+ to acceptor—the chromophore of TagRFP. Long-lived terbium-sensitized emission (microseconds), pulse excitation source, and time-resolved detection were utilized to eliminate directly excited TagRFP fluorescence and background cellular autofluorescence, which lasts a fraction of nanosecond, and thus to improve sensitivity of analyses. Furthermore the technique facilitates selective detection of fluorescence, induced by uncleaved acceptor emission. For the first time it was shown that fluorescence resonance energy transfer between sensitized terbium and TagRFP in the engineered construction can be studied via detection of microsecond TagRFP fluorescence intensities. The lifetime and distance distribution between donor and acceptor were calculated using molecular dynamics simulation. Using this data, quantum yield of terbium ions with binding peptide was estimated. 相似文献

Revolute joints in applications always show clearance between pin and bushing due to manufacturing tolerances, the need of relative motion or progressing wear. Many researchers developed and investigated methodologies to calculate the dynamic behavior of mechanisms with such imperfect joints. Very often they use a simple slider-crank mechanism to test or demonstrate the capability of their approaches. In this paper, a methodology for simulating a slider-crank mechanism with an imperfect revolute joint in RecurDyn, a commercial multibody simulation tool, is presented. Therefore, a thorough investigation of existing contact, damping and friction force models as well as different ways of modeling revolute joints in RecurDyn was conducted. For the investigation of the damping models, a special program for calculating the model parameters for a given coefficient of restitution was developed. Only one damping model was capable of reproducing the experimental results, which were found in literature. Some characteristic results of the slider-crank mechanism are presented in a way that they can be compared to results in other papers.
